Animal care technician (maternity cover possibility of becoming permanent)

Part Time – 32 hrs per week
Salary Band 10 -13 £15,613 – £16,491 (pro rata) depending on experience.
Post to commence in January 2018
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable individual to help support the work we do with the animals at All Hallows. The role will be working Monday to Friday but may include some weekend work when necessary.

Please not the position may be withdrawn if enough applications are received before the closing date.

 Role Overview:
The main responsibilities include caring for the indoor animals and livestock that we have on site, promote good welfare of the animals as well as working with the students running sessions that will help them to learn the skills necessary for animal care. Sourcing and ordering of feed and bedding supplies. Support the BTEC animal care lessons by preparing animals and equipment. Working with children who visit from the local primary schools. Experience essential.

Hourly rate of £8.75 (£10 for Lead Invigilators) Flexible hours 
We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to assist with primarily November and     May/June Public Exam Seasons and Sixth Form Mock exams in Feb/March. 

 Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, have effective verbal and written communication skills and be confident with a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms. Training will be provided to ensure all standards are met and maintained throughout the exam period
